Betty Lou Crawford Garrette, was born on November 30, 1937, in Aliquippa, PA to John and Maggie Faye Crawford. Betty passed away on February 6, 2019, at the age of 81.

In life, Betty married Billy Roy Garrette, a soldier who took Betty across the world and back while serving his country. They eventually settled down in Centerville, TN around the area of Brushy. She was a housekeeper at the Life Care Center of Centerville for over 20 years.

Betty Garrette is survived by her five daughters, Susan Davis of Marrietta, GA, Nena Kelley of Columbus, Georgia, Nancy Smith of Buhl, AL, Sandra Wade of Buhl, AL, and Ketiva Lynch of Pleasantville, TN; her son Billy Roy Garrette Jr.; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Billy Roy Garrette Sr.; her parents John Crawford and Maggie Faye Morris.

Visitation will be 9 Feb 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. Hickman County. Funeral Services will be held at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. Hickman County on 10 Feb 2019 at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Milan Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
