He is the son of the late James Oliver Furlow and Leona Sisk Furlow.

He was also preceded in death by his grandson Jacob Furlow, and brother Robert Lee Furlow.

He is survived by his wife Ebbie Proctor Furlow of Centerville. Daughters Carla Furlow, Sherry Meadows, Billie Jean Tidwell, and Angela Pierce. Son Joe Furlow. Sister Vera Mae Paul. 9 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Along with a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Mr. Furlow worked as a truck driver and as a carpenter.

He was an outdoors-man. He loved sitting on his porch, tinkering with motors, and fishing for bass and catfish.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ward’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held with the family following services at the graveside.
