Furhman, Wilton Ray
Wilton Ray Furhman, Totty Drive, died Sunday, August 25, 2002 at her home. She was 67. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 27 at 1:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home with Sam Livingston, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, and Bill Webb, pastor of Blondy Church of God, officiating. Interment was in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Furhman was the daughter of the late Grady Homer and Lettie Gertrude Simmons Ray. She was born January 13, 1935 in Wayne County. She was a retired factory worker and homemaker. She was a member of the Highland Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert Furhman of Hohenwald; a daughter, Wanda Hudson of Hohenwald; two brothers, Howard Ray of Waynesboro, and Harold Ray of Reed Springs, Missouri; three granddaughters, Carol Brown and Melody Hinson of Hohenwald, and Sonja Rumbaugh of Waynesboro; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Homer Ray and a sister Earline Ray.
