Dorris Nelson French was born on October 19, 1938, in Coble, Tennessee. He passed away on November 12, 2019, in Centerville, Tennessee. He was 81 years old. He was the son of the late Perry Clayton French and Elsie Lois Divinney French.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Luther French of Bon Aqua, Tennessee; daughters, Denise French Bell (Greg) of Palmersville, Tennessee, and Renee French Halbrooks (Randall) of Centerville, Tennessee;  son, William Clifford “Cliff” (Sheri) French of Bon Aqua.   Ten Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Visitation with the family will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County on 16 Nov 2019 beginning from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Funeral services will be held at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, TN on 16 Nov 2019 at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Bon Aqua United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bon Aqua, TN.
