Franco, Florence L
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Loretta Franco of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, who passed away on April 27, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Florence Loretta may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
Florence was truly the matriarch of the Franco family, a loving and generous mother and grandmother, cherished by all around her. Throughout her life, she had no detractors. Travel was her passion, and she travelled all over the world with her husband, usually once, and after Tony’s retirement, twice a year, dragging any friends or family who could get away, along for the ride.
Florence and Tony were happy residents of a Cocoa Beach condominium community, right on the Atlantic seashore. She loved to cook and paint. Whether she was chatting with friends at a favorite restaurant, hosting unforgettable dinner parties, or socializing with her neighbors in the pool, Florence always had a way of making everyone feel like an old friend. Her days were filled with laughter, meaningful conversation, and the kind of joy that only comes from truly loving people and life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Wojick and Florence Sibiga Wojick; her beloved husband Anthony (Tony) Franco; her sons, Douglas John Franco and Dennis Mark Franco; her grandson Matthew W. Franco; and her siblings, Robert Wojick, James Wojcik and Kathleen W. Kottas.
She is survived by: her son Larry Franco (Tina) of Burns; her daughter-in-law Gail Flesch of Bon Aqua; her grandson Mason Franco, and a host of children and grandchildren by Larry’s marriage to Tina.
McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee is honored to be serving the Franco Family during this difficult time.
