Herbert Floyd, age 92, of Hohenwald died Sunday, November 9, 2003 at his residence. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, November 10, 2003, 2:00PM in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home with Glen Floyd and Jimmy Pearcy officiating. Burial will follow in the Swiss Cemetery. Born Feb. 17, 1911, Mr. Floyd was the son of the late Marion and Nancy Dabbs Floyd. He was the widow of the late Bertha Turnbow Floyd. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include one son Austin Earl (Lorene) Floyd of Hohenwald. A grandaughter, Jennifer Barber of Hohenwald. One great-grandaughter, Stephanie Thomas of Hohenwald and one great-great-grandaughter, Kriston Thomas of Hohenwald.
