Irma Dean Fite, age 97,  born April 27, 1908, Flatwoods, TN, died December 26, 2005 at Brookview Healthcare Center, Gaffney, SC. 

Visitation will be December 29, 2005 at 4:30 PM at McDonald Funeral Home Inc.  The funeral will be held at McDonald Funeral Home Inc, December 30, 2005 at 11:00 AM.  The officiating clergy will be Elton Jackson.  Burial will take place December 30, 2005 in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.  

Survivors include son, Edwin (Brenda) Fite; daughter, Janet (Albert) Whitney; foster son, George (Betty) Bessent; brother, Conrad King;  five grandchildren and  seven great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents, Braxton and Mollie (Phillips) King. 

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the George & Betty Bessnet Scholarship Fund at Freed Hardiman University, Henderson TN.
