Farr, Charlene Rosetta
On the morning of November 4, 2022 at 11:40 a.m., Charlene “Biggun” Rosetta Colvett Farr, age 60 of Ethridge, closed her eyes in death and woke up in paradise. She passed at Maury Regional Medical Center surrounded by her siblings and their families.
She was born on October 11, 1962 to the late Charlie & Geneva (Nookie) Colvett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darren Farr; her parents; and a great-nephew, Darius Chapman. She is survived by her four siblings, Nancy (Keith) Bryant of Hohenwald, Samantha (Buddy) Marks of Summertown, Jack (Kawanna) Colvett of Mt. Pleasant and Rusty (Libby) Colvett of Columbia. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews, one great-niece and three great-nephews. She was a member of the Church of Christ faith. She was a loving daughter, sister and wife. She had a special love for animals, especially her black lab “Bear Bear” and watching all the redbirds eat from their feeders. She will be greatly missed by her siblings and many more. Special thanks to the staff at MRMC & Hospice Compassus who lovingly cared for Charlene in her final days.
Services for Charlene were held Monday, November 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Brother Rusty Colvett officiating. Burial followed at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Pallbearers were Buddy Marks, Jack Colvett, Charlie Workman, Malachi Colvett, Anthony Chatman, and Robert Allen.
Honorary pallbearers were Jacklyn & Jackson Colvett, and Emma Grace & Canaan Chatman.
Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
