Wilma Jeanette Primm Elkins was born on September 25, 1939, in Lyles, TN to the late Comer Woodrow and Dessie Lou Capps Primm and entered eternal rest on February 5, 2024 in Clarksville, TN at the age of 84 years.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Turner (Jack) Elkins, brother, Dorris Trotter and sisters, Mildred White and Betty Lou Boehms.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Lee Elkins, Sr., Jason Cory (Angie) Elkins, Teresa Jean (Edwin) Smith, and sister, Evelyn (Paul) Johnston, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Wilma loved working with her talented hands creating beautiful quilts and sewing along with growing and tending her flowers which brought her great joy. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed country cooking and baking. She was well known for her coconut cake and pecan pie. She enjoying gardening and canning items from her garden. Most of all she loved her family and friends who will miss her deeply.

Visitation with the family will be 9 Feb 2024 from 4:00 – 9:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be 10 Feb 2024 at 11:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
