Juanita Edwards, 93, died January 24, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She resided in Colliervillle.  Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. January 26, 2010 in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel with Barry Grider officiating. Burial took place in the Swiss Cemetery.  A daughter of the late Herman Lee McDonough and Stella Poore McDonough, Mrs. Edwards was born January 18, 1917 in Bolivar. She was married to the late Ivio C. Edwards.  Survivors include one son, Johnnie Lee (Lori) Edwards of Collierville; one daughter, Yvonne Neal (John) Blackstone of Nesbit, Mississippi; one step daughter, Judy Edwards (Jerry) Barber of Columbia; one foster sister, Beatrice “Bappy” Gatewood Brown of Gallatin; two step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by a brother, James Eldon McDonough and granddaughter, Natalie Yvonne Bates.
