Mary Sue Edney was born on Nov. 28, 1926 in Pleasantville to the late Revo and Mattie Horner Chessor and passed into eternity on April 2, 2022 at the age of 95.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband KO Edney, brother James Chessor and sister Emma Johnson, survivors include Glenda Jacobs (Gary), brothers Willie Chessor (Nancy) Granville Chessor (Carmonette), sisters Evelyn Thompson (Dan), Mattie Tom Ayers, Ila Jenkins (Jimmy), and Linda Warfield (Frank).

Sue was a member of the Shipps Bend Church of Christ, and a retired nurses aide. She loved the Grinders Switch Radio Hour never missing a show until her health prevented her, and was dubbed the official dancer of the show. She loved people and always had a smile on her face, she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visitaton will be 7 April 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  A Funeral Service will be 7 April 2022 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Oakmont Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
