Mrs. Ethelyn Earhart of Hohenwald passed away at the age of 82 after an extended illness at Life Care Center in Columbia on Friday January 15, 2021 with family at her side. She was born in Pennsylvania on November 25, 1938 to the late Thomas and Laura Hitsue Adamson. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl “Mike” Earhart.

Mrs. Earhart loved dancing and owned and managed a ceramic shop for several years. For approximately eight years she served as head cook at the Golden Saddle.

Mrs. Ethelyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Laura (Rick) Sass of Greensburg, PA, Mike (Paula) Earhart of Jacksonville, FL, and Rose (James) Betz of Hohenwald; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and brothers David (Sharon) Adamson of Florida and Robert (Mae) Adamson of Pennsylvania.

The family is honoring her wishes to be cremated and plans to hold a small service at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Betz.
