Myra Prue Duncan of Linden, died Saturday, July 27 2002 at Perry Community Hospital. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home in Linden with Jerry McMinn and Melvin Qualls officiating. Burial was in the Qualls Cemetery. Mrs. Duncan, 90, was the daughter of the late Jeff and Jennie Johnson Doyle. She was born October 13, 1911 in Linden. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, James Robert Duncan of Linden; five daughters, Mary Ruth Barber, Lucille Strickland, Ann Edwards, and Lavinia Dabbs of Linden; Linda Riley of Hohenwald; a sister, Mary Thornton of Centerville; 26 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Duncan.
