Charles William “Billy” Duncan, age 72, died Monday, September 8, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Hohenwald Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Downey Cemetery. Bruce McIntyre will officiate. Survivors include his wife Ersie Lee Staggs Duncan. Two sons, Bobby Duncan of Hohenwald and James Wesley Duncan of DeLeon, Texas. Also two daughters, Mary Simmons of Hohenwald and Donna Kay Coan of DeLeon, Texas. Three sisters, Waldine Staggs of Ashland City, Frances Tripp of Lawrenceburg and Ophelia Willett of Metamora IL. Nine grandchildren and Seven great grandchildren.
