On the morning of May 13, 2021 Mr. Barry Donald Duncan unexpectedly passed away at his Hohenwald home at the age of 63. He was born to the late James and Hazel (Chester) Duncan in Lewis County on December 19,1957. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James Edwin Duncan. He loved his job at Genesco and even after an accident he immediately returned working until later retiring to enjoy his free time.

Mr. Barry or “pumpkin” as some would call him was a selfless man that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He enjoyed being at home people watching and chatting with neighbors about the events unfolding. He had an immeasurable passion for his U.T. Vols, Bob Seger, and cats.  His true pride and joy in life was “BB” whom he loved bigger than anything.  

Mr. Duncan leaves behind his daughter Brittany (Justin) Sanders; and siblings Shirley Duncan and Terry Duncan.
