Dugger, Marian M
Marian M. Dugger passed away peacefully on March 29, 2024, in Hohenwald, at the age of 86 with her beloved family by her side. She was born on October 3, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant to the late Neal S. Massey and Virginia High Massey.
On May 1, 1955, she married the love of her life, Charlie J. Dugger. For 27 years, Marian dedicated her professional life to managing payroll at DANA, where she was not only a valued employee but also a friend to many. She was a longtime, faithful member of Flatrock Church of Christ.
She found great delight in traveling with her beloved husband, Charlie; their camping trips were full of laughter and created memories that would last a lifetime. She loved to spend her free time crocheting or sewing, making mementos for her family to cherish. To her children and grandchildren, Marian was the best mom and grandmother—her loving and caring nature was her signature, and her talents were boundless. She was the kind of person who could do anything she set her mind to, always with grace and a smile. Those fortunate enough to know Marian would describe her in one word: loving. Her heart was an open door, and her warmth and generosity knew no bounds.
In addition to her parents, Neal and Virginia, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Neal H. Massey; and her sisters, Sarah Massey and Ann Massey.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 68 years, Charlie J. Dugger; children, Charlie J. Dugger, Jr., Amanda Kay (David) Henley, and Terri Lynn (Randy) Hinson; grandchildren, Dasha (Shane) Lowery, Nathan (Ciara) Henley, Erin (Michelle) Hinson, Brianna (Ty) Hadley; great-grandchildren, Andon Lowery, Abree Lowery, Blaine Bowen, Brantley Hinson, Avilee Hinson, Maylee Hadley, Maddyn Hadley.
