Doyce Kenneth Ray was born on September 22, 1953, in Chamblee, GA and passed away on August 9, 2019. He was the son of the late Doyce Homer Ray and Ruby Jeanette Clanton Ray.

He is survived by his sisters, Brenda Thurmond of Powder Springs, GA, Rebecca Sasser of Powder Springs, GA, Theressa Morris of Newnan, GA, Linda Corbitt of Lebelle, FL, and Freddie Marie Chambers of Buchanan, GA. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. As well as many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Mr. Ray served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a decorated soldier that served 2 tours. He loved where he lived in Nunnelly. His proximity to the lakes made it easy to enjoy his favorite past time, fishing. He enjoyed catching whatever would bite. He also loved music, especially the Allman Brothers. He will be missed by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on 17 Sep 2019 at 4:00PM at Hidden Valley Lakes, 2807 Mallard Dr, Nunnelly, TN. A Gathering of Friends will be held on 7 Sep 2019, at 5PM, at Hidden Valley Lakes, Nunnelly, TN.
