Luke McKinley Dowdy, age 31, of Hohenwald, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at home. He was a native of Lauderdale County, Alabama, a laborer, and of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services were held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Greg Morris officiated. Burial followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughter, M’Kynleigh Katherine Lynn Springer of Lawrenceburg; father, Charles Dowdy of Florence, Alabama; five siblings, Dawn Rice (Nathan) of Pueblo, Colorado; Caleb Dowdy of Iron City; Haley Skelton (Dustin) of Hohenwald; Danielle Urban of Loretto; Tanner Clark of Lawrenceburg; several nieces & nephews

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Jean Powers, and brother, Jerome Dowdy.
