Paul Houston Dorton was born on November 23, 1936, and passed away on July 23, 2019 at the age of 82. He was the son of the late Carl and Elise Cannon Dorton.

Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Carl Dorton Jr. and nephew, Chad Thompson.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Dorton; daughter, Tina (Mark) Truett; grandson, Kent (Macy) Truett; great-grandson, Charlie Jenkins; and brother-in-law, Wayne Thompson.

Visitation will be held on 24 Jul, 2019, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Funeral services will be conducted on 25 Jul 2019, at 11:00 AM in the McDonald Funeral Home- Hickman County. Burial will follow at the Grays Bend Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
