Mrs. Joyce Dorton was born February 2, 1941, in Hickman County, Tennessee, to the late H. W. “Dubbs” and Annie Lou Shepard Thompson, and passed away in Centerville, Tennessee, on October 31, 2022, at the age of 81.

Mrs. Dorton was also preceded in death by her husband Paul Dorton and her nephew Chad Thompson.

Mrs. Joyce is survived by her daughter Tina (Mark) Truett, grandson Kent (Macy) Truett, her great- grandson Charlie Truett, and her brother Wayne Thompson.

Visitation with the family will be Nov 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  

Graveside Services will be Nov 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Grays Bend Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
