Sharon Lee Delaney, who resided in Lyles, Tennessee, passed away on May 10, 2024, at TriStar Horizon Hospital in Dickson, Tennessee, at the age of 73. She was born on December 11, 1950, in Syracuse, New York, to the late Gordon Davis and Janet Schield-Davis.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Delaney Jr., her daughter, Marlene Dilday, her son, Billy Phillips, and her brother, Mark Davis. She is survived by her children: Paul Phillips, Marcia Bell, Richard Delaney III, Erin Delaney, and Brett Delaney. Sharon is also survived by her siblings Steve Davis, Gordy Davis, Nancsi Carter, Brenda Gabruk, LuAnne Taber, and Janice Davis.

Sharon’s greatest source of happiness was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love was unconditional and non-judgmental. She has left behind precious memories with her family, friends, and pampered dog Kinsleigh. She enjoyed attending the Elam-Wright Free Will Baptist Church.

No services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Hickman County Humane Society.
