Denny Wayne Davidson, age 73, of Hampshire, Tennessee passed away at his home on June 17, 2023. Denny was born in Centerville, Tennessee on November 11, 1949 to Mrs. Mary Bell (Sharp) Davidson and the late John Owen Davidson.

Denny was a Pipefitter by trade working his entire career traveling, working at multiple paper mills throughout the United States. Many years were spent as a Startup Commissioning Engineer for BE&K-Global Engineer Company based out of Birmingham, Alabama, as well as a Construction Coordinator & Commissioning Engineer for Weyerhaeuser Paper Company, along with others including Georgia, Pacific, International Paper & Boise Cascade. Denny was well respected in his field. Often being recruited to troubleshoot, develop punch lists and schedule construction completion to meet commissioning deadlines.

In addition to his father, Denny is preceded in death by his four brothers, Randy Davidson, Johnny Davidson, Ronnie Davidson and Roger Davidson.

Denny is survived by his mother, Mary Bell Davidson, daughter Monica DePriest of Lyles, son Ben Davidson (Sara), and brother Greg Davidson. Grandchildren include Ryan DePriest, Haley DePriest-Long, Briley DePriest, Nolan DePriest, Drew Davidson, Grant Davidson and 5 great grandchildren.

Denny loved his mother, children and grandchildren immensely and spent time with them whenever possible. He was a wonderful son, father, grandfather and friend to everyone he met and always helping those in need.

Visitation with the family will be 20 June 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be 21 June 2023 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Campground Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
