Reba Kathleen Benefield Davenport, born on January 11th, 1930, passed away on May 20th, 2025, at her residence at the age of 95. She was a native of Lawrence County, Tennessee, a homemaker, and a member of Unity Baptist Church. Kathleen was married to Ernest Fred Davenport for 67 years and ran a successful farm.

Kathleen is survived by her son: Jeffrey (Pam) Davenport of Summertown. A daughter-in-law: Sandy Davenport of Columbia. Four brothers: Mack (Mary) Benefield and Jack (Merriss) Benefield of Summertown, Ed Benefield of Hendersonville, and Ronnie (Cindy) Benefield of Rogersville, Alabama; a sister Annie Benefield of Cornville, Arizona; four grandchildren, Mandy (Cassius) Hayes, Ross (Lizzy) Davenport, Victoria (Jarrod) Jacobs, and Flint Webb, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Kathleen was blessed with loving friends and caregivers including Sherry Keeton, Patsy Keeton, Olivia Williams, Glenda Cox, and Molly Shaffer with Compassus. Also, her faithful and loving friend Ginny Laws who will miss her terribly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.

Arrangements are being handled by Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
