Cella Faye Dabbs, age 71, born September 1, 1933 in Wayne Co., TN, died February 24, 2005 at her daughter’s residence in Hohenwald, TN. 

Survivors include daughters, Theresa (Doug) Tracy, Shirley (David) Dupont, Glenda (Ricky) Hunt, Tina (Phillip) Overbey and Jenny Halbrooks;  brother, William J. Mathis;  sisters, Claudia Rochkes, Betty Sealey, Leatha Lomax, and Joyce Eller;  half brother, Buddy Mathis;  half-sisters, Sally Jane Mathis & Connie Mathis;  13 grandchildren, 16  great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by her husband, James Warren Dabbs, parents, Claude Dock and Esther Lee (Dugger) Mathis and brother, Dick Mathis.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 10:30 AM at McDonald Funeral Home Inc.  The funeral will be held at McDonald Funeral Home Inc. on February 27, 2005 at 2:00 PM.  The officiating clergy will be Steve Reeves, and Jackie Mathis.  Burial will take place February 27, 2005 in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
