Joe was a very caring and giving soul. It was fitting that he was a barber in that he helped the people of Lewis County feel and look better after time in his chair. He enjoyed sitting and talking with not only his clients but family and friends. While he wasn’t working, he spent his time collecting antiques. Two of which were antique cars that he still owns today.
Mr. Curtis leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Shelly Curtis Artrip, Aubrey Curtis, Jaclyn Niece, and Brandon Finerty, and Michael McCann; grandchildren Kaylin Artrip, Ally Artrip, and Grayson Niece; his siblings Carolyn Haymonns, and Bruce Curtis. Along with his family he leaves behind special lifelong friends Paula Uppole, Gene Jackson, Jeff Hardin, and Steve McCullum.
