John Thomas “Tom” Culp, 83, of Linden, passed away Wednesday October 15, 2025 with loved ones by his side. He was born in Linden to the late Roy Culp and Iris Moore Culp. He was a graduate of Linden High School, Class of 1960. Tom was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a long time member of the Cedar Creek Church of Christ, where he was the song leader for many years.

In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a son Corey Lee Culp and a sister Carolyn Culp Christy.

Tom leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Betty Lee Culp, his daughters Tammy (Jamie) Clifton and Trudy (Bobby) Hinson, grandchildren Evan Cunningham, Ciara Cunningham, Brody Hinson, Garron (Hannah) Hinson and Justin Sipes, 5 great-grandchildren Liam, Everett, Nora, Landon and Caroline, a step-granddaughter Katie (Michael) Hensley, step-grandchildren Jaylon and Olivia, a brother Paul Culp, and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.

Graveside service was held Friday, October 17 at 1:00 pm. at Woods-Treadwell Cemetery in Linden.
