Ruby Mae Cross, age 80, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at her home in Hohenwald. Ms. Cross was born May 28, 1940 in Linden to the late Elijah and Pearl (Duncan) McCuiston.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cross; brother, Richard McCuiston; sister, Roberta Shelton; and step-son Gregory Earl Cross.

She is survived by her daughter, Reba (Richard) Proctor; son, Jack (Tracy) Cross; 3 grandchildren: Danny Harrington, Jana Proctor, Dennis Cross; 4 great-grandchildren: Savannah Duncan, Eva Duncan, Justin Smith, Gracie Smith.

Visitation with the family of Ms. Cross will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 4:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
