Atlas B. Cross, age 70 of Iron City, TN died on November 5, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 8, 2003 at 1:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Buie officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Pleasantville. Mr. Cross who was a carpet installer, was born Feb. 8, 1933 in Hickman Co., TN. He was the son of the late Harvey and Myrtle Roden Cross. Survivors include his wife Pauline Cross of Iron City, son Jeffrey Cross of Hohenwald, step son Larry Moore of Lawrenceburg, daughters Peggy Carroll and Patty Robertson both of Hohenwald, step daughters Anita Carroll of Savannah and Vicky Moore of Waynesboro; brother Donald Cross of Hohenwald, sisters Vera Porter of Fairview, Glenda Tanner of Centerville, Gail Willis of Columbia, Karen Turner of Hohenwald and Joyce Banfield of Smyrna; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.
