Jimmy Cothran, 74, of Hohenwald, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at his home. Born on August 26,1944, to Jess Cothran, Jr. and Eunice Skelton Cothran, he lived in Hohenwald, TN, all of his life. He was married to his best friend, Bonnie Russell Cothran, for 43 years. He worked as a supervisor for TDOT. His parents precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Cothran of Hohenwald, TN,  son, Chad Cothran of Hohenwald, TN,   daughters, Lisa Fransen of Hohenwald, TN and Tanonni Garner (David) of Columbia, TN,  sister, Shelia Clay of Hohenwald, TN, granddaughters, Jessica Fransen, Logan Fransen and Fayth Layne;   Grandson,  Ethan Fransen and Xander Garner.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at 5:00 PM, at the McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald, and also on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 9:00 AM at the Salem Church of Christ. It will continue until service time on Friday.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 10:00 AM at the Salem Church of Christ in Hohenwald. Joe Griner and Johnny Clayton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Jimmy Cothran Family Cemetery.
