Mr. William Lee “Bill” Corter of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the age of 72. Bill was born on April 7, 1949, to Thomas Corter and Bessie Skelton in Hohenwald. He married Cindy Clay and they enjoyed many years together. Bill worked in maintenance at Heritage Farms in Murfreesboro. He and Cindy were members of the East Main Church of Christ.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Chris (Heather) Gordon of Murfreesboro, TN, his daughter, Ashlee Corter of Murfreesboro, TN, and his grandchildren, Christian Aldrich, Robin (Kevin) Reardon, Andrew Aldrich, Kaylee (Jordan) Aldrich, Jackson Gordon, and CJ Gordon. His parents precede him in death.

Visitation with the family will be conducted on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM.   Burial will be in the Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
