Connor, Kenneth Coleman
Kenneth “KC” Coleman Connor, 76, of Linden, passed away August 21, 2025, at Decatur County. Nursing and Rehab. “KC” was born in Hohenwald, on August 14, 1949, to the late V.K. and Agnes Wilkes Brooks Connor.
He was a retired machinist from Union Carbide in Columbia. KC served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Averett Connor.
“KC” loved the outdoors and spending time with friends, on the water, riding four wheelers, or spending time on his motorcycle. He was a avid fisherman who enjoyed his time spent fishing on and his time living near the Tennessee River.
Survivors include his daughter Kenda (Stacy) Polk; sister Laura (Richard) Hayes; and several nieces and nephews. Special friends also are left Chicken and Julie Russell; Scooter Thomson; Steve Hall; Doc and Susan Ellen; Patricia Grimmitt; and Bonnie and Gary Riley.
Graveside services were held Sunday August 24, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Dr. O.A. Kirk Memorial Cemetery in Linden. Randall Baxter officiated and Military honors were presented.
