Glenda Kay Burlison Coates, age 70, of Centerville, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 25, 1954, in Hohenwald, to the late Howard Burlison and the late Pearl Simmons Burlison.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Coates. She is survived by her daughters Ginger James (Jeremy) of Centerville and Holly Orozco (Octavio) of Daphne, AL; her grandchildren Lauryn Benfatto (Brandyn), Lindsy Diamante, Anthony Diamante, Courtney James, Jackson Smith, and Chase Orozco; her sisters Peggy Stacey and Judy Bates; her brother Jerry Burlison Sr. (Penny); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville. Family visitation was from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with public viewing at 12:00 p.m., and the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
