Shirley Faye Talley Clayborn (70), of Nunnelly, TN, passed away at home, surrounded by family, on October 7, 2021, after a five-year courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 10, 1951, to the late Dalton and Mary (Greene) Talley. Shirley was married to Terry Clayborn for 52 years.

She worked many years at Levi Strauss and was later the cafeteria manager at Centerville Elementary.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by sisters, Brenda Rhodes and Wanda Gissiner.

Shirley is survived by husband, Terry Clayborn, daughter, Christy (Wayne Brown) Roddy, son, Michael (Stacie) Clayborn; grandchildren, Olivia Roddy, Hannah Roddy, Gabe Clayborn, Avery Clayborn.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a wonderful cook, and her favorite place to be was in her kitchen baking and cooking delicious meals for her family. One of Shirley’s favorite quotes was, “I did nothing particular, but I did it very well.”
