Ms. Fada Jean Clay, age 92, of Hohenwald, passed from this life on Monday, November 28, 2022. She was born on January 9, 1930 in Hohenwald, to the late Chancy Robert, Sr. and Lucille (Loveless) Baker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lewis N. Clay; brothers, C.R. Baker, Jack Baker, Sam Baker and Charlie Baker; her sister, Martha Baker.

Ms. Clay leaves behind to cherish her memory, son Michael L. Clay of Hohenwald; daughter Cynthia L. Corter of Murfressboro; grandchildren Ashlee Corter and Chris Gordon; great-grandchildren CJ Gordon, Jack Gordon and Robin Reardon, as well as many other family members and friends.

Visitation with Ms. Clay’s family will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM until service time in the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County. Funeral services for Ms. Clay will be conducted on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Bobby Carroll officiating. Burial services will follow in Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
