Freda M. Clark, age 93 of Hickman County, Tennessee, passed away at NHC in Dickson, Tennessee on February 24, 2025. Freda was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 24, 1931, to the late Arthur and Elvira Josephine Clark.

Freda was a devoted family member whose strength and resilience provided a foundation for those she loved. She devoted several years to Clark Container where she later retired from. Apart from work Freda found immense joy in nurturing her garden and tending to her flowers and her green thumb was matched by her culinary talents. Freda’s kitchen was the heart of her home, where she created memorable meals that brought together family and friends around her table.

Above all Freda’s greatest joy was her family. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she created a home filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Her wisdom, kindness and support were the foundation for which her family thrived.

In addition to her parents, Freda is preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Turpin, sisters Evelyn James, Francis Clark and brothers, JD Clark, Mitchell Clark, Grady Clark, Bobby Clark and Billy Clark.

Freda is loving remembered by her daughter, Cynthia Martin (Larry) of Hickman County, Tennessee, son Thomas Cabe (Betty) of Sylva, North Carolina, brother Milton Clark of Dickson, Tennessee, grandchildren, Melissa Gibbs of Lyles, Tennessee, Nathan Turpin (Jennifer) of Lyles, Tennessee, Daniel Cabe (Sayward) of Whittier, North Carolina and six great-grandchildren in addition to a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be 27 Feb 2025 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with Funeral Services to begin at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
