Paul Ray Churchwell, 83, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the Sumner Regional Medical Center. He was born in Hohenwald on May 17, 1936, to John and Florence Churchwell.

He enjoyed fishing and loved playing music. He was a carpenter.

Survivors include daughters, Vickie Bailie (Chris) of Gallatin, TN and Janice Boren (Steve) of Thompson Station, TN, son, David Churchwell (Janet) of FL, brother, Joe Churchwell of Hohenwald, TN,  nine grandchildren, Lonnie Churchwell, Bryan Williams, Jeff Williams, Lance Churchwell, James Churchwell ,Jerry Churchwell, Brandon Churchwell, Johnathan Boren, and Matthew Boren  along with 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, John Churchwell and Florence LaRue Churchwell, sons, Lonnie Churchwell and Timothy Churchwell, and grandson, Jeremy Churchwell.

Visitation will be 23 Sep 2019 at 4:30pm at McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.  The Funeral will be on 24 Sep 2019 at McDonald Funeral Home -Lewis County.
