McKinley Harding Choate born on March 7, 1922 and passed away on June 19, 2019 at the age of 97. He is the son of the late Vernie Lee and Lula Skelton Choate.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Waters Choate, daughter, Vickey Shepard, and son, William Billy Choate.

He is survived by his sons, Tony and Barry Choate, daughter, Tracy Luttrell, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Choate was a World War II Veteran-Awarded Bronze Star United States Army. He retired from Peterbilt. Known and loved by many in the community as PawPaw, Hustler, Tojo, and mostly importantly Daddy by his kids.

He will be cremated.

Graveside Burial Service scheduled for 2 PM on Saturday June 29, 2019 at Sullivan Cemetery (Grays Bend) with a celebration of life party to follow at the Choate’s Farm on Grays Bend. All Friends and Family are welcome to attend the graveside and the celebration of life party to follow.
