Elizabeth Ann (Sally) Chessor, age 86, of Centerville, was born August 2, 1936 and passed away August 1, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Cagle and Carrie Ersella Horner Cagle Cunningham,  husband, of 53 years, Lamar Chessor and brothers John Duncan and Pete, Cecil, and Jake Cagle.

She is survive by her sons, Don (Vicki) Chessor and Sam (Cindy) Chessor; and daughter, Carol (Don) Spicer. Grandchildren, Clay (Tara) Chessor; Kyle Chessor; Lindsey (Alex) Guill; Shelby and Shane Spicer. Great-grandchildren, Braydon, Cooper, Bryson and Brody Chessor.

She is also survived by sister-in-law Dottie McClearen and brother-in-law George (Linda) Chessor and nieces and nephews.

She retired from Clagett Walker Huddleston Insurance Agency and was an active member of the Centerville Church of Christ involved in the Benevolent Program. She cherished time spent with her life-long friends, the “Coble Girls.” In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Centerville Church of Christ Camp Meribah.

Visitation with the family will be 4 Aug 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be 5 Aug 2023 at 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.  Bill McDonald & Matthew Dotson will officiate the service.  Burial will follow at Oakmont Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
