Betty Ozell Chessor, born on October 7, 1940, to the late Dorsey and Hazel Loveless Jenkins, entered eternal rest on April 16, 2025, in Centerville, Tennessee, at the age of 84.

A devoted wife, mother, and friend, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Chessor. She is lovingly remembered by her children—Maria Love, Sheila Smith, Terry Chessor, and Ritchie Chessor—as well as a host of cherished family members and friends.

Betty loved her family fiercely and found great joy in spending time with those she held dear. Whether gathered around the table or simply sharing stories, she made every moment meaningful. Her warmth, strength, and kindness touched the lives of many, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed.

Graveside Services will be held 18 April 2025 at 2:30 PM at Milan Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
