Cornelia Margarete Chandler was born in Centerville, Tennessee, on January 5, 1948, to the late Howard D. and Margarete Winters Hassell, and died December 12, 2020, at the age of 72 years.

On December 22, 2020, Mrs. Chandler was followed in death by her husband, Terry Melvin Chandler, Sr.

Mrs. Chandler is survived by her sons Terry (Gina) Chandler, Jr. and Michael Chandler, her sister Shirley Henley, her brother James Hassell, five grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

After a life together of almost 55 years, a joint graveside service will be held for Mr. and Mrs. Chandler on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Charles L. Nickell Memorial Park, Centerville, TN, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Mark Walton officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fairfield Baptist Church in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Chandler.
