On December 21, 2021, Ms. Joan Carroll peacefully passed away at AHC Lewis County at the age of 90. Ms. Carroll was born on October 26, 1931, to the late Arthur L. and Betty W. Webb Carroll in Hohenwald, TN.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Edward Carroll.

Ms. Carroll leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister, Barbara “Lynn” Brown (Burl); two nephews, James Terry Carroll and Bradley Brown; and one great nephew, Stephen Carroll.

Joan was a member of Pineview Church of Christ where she was a devoted member in the ladies’ classes held there. In her spare time, she enjoyed all things outdoors. Joan spent countless hours in her gardens often producing some of the most beautiful display of flowers or taking leisurely walks to enjoy the scenery.

Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN,  with Brother Bobby Carroll officiating.
