Ms. Dorothy Dean Moore Carroll departed this earthly life for her eternal home on May 11, 2023, at the age of 88. Ms. Dorothy was born on October 12, 1934, in Lewis County to the late Raymond and Eva (Skelton) Moore.

She married James E Carroll in 1953. Ms. Dorothy was a member of the Pineview Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother Harold Moore and her sister Louise Mayes.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving son, J.T. Carroll and her grandson, Stephen Lee Carroll.

Graveside services for Ms. Dorothy will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM in Swiss Cemetery with Bobby Carroll officiating.

Ms. Dorothy requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
