Tommy Jack Cannon, born on September 7, 1941, in Centerville Tennessee, to the late John and Laura Petty Cannon, entered eternal rest on June 11, 2025, at the age of 83.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his brothers, John Earl Cannon, Charles Cannon. sister, Mary Sue Cannon, and granddaughter Abigail Cannon.

He is survived by his children, Larry (Tish) Cannon, Tina (Bryan) Dykes, and Gary (Teah) Cannon, grandchildren Zach (Heather) Cannon, Crystal (Aaron) Kiefer, Lindsey (Robby) Brown, Ken Clayton, Shawna Puckett (Mark Boehler), Blake (Jessica) Crafton, Jake Cannon, Ethan (Brooke) Cannon, great grandchildren Aiden, Liam, Karsen, Karter, Kaysen, Cadence, Hazel, Oliver, Benjamin, Caroline, and Abby.

Tommy was retired from the Town of Centerville water plant and Levis Strauss. He was a member of Pinewood Church of Christ and Nunnelly Church of Christ. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Always looking forward to the time of being outside working in his yard or helping someone else.
Tommy will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Visitation with the family will be 16 Jun 2025 from 10:00AM – 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Petty Cemetery, Nunnelly, TN.
