Martha Burleson was born on April 14, 1960 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and passed away on February 3, 2024 in Franklin, Tennessee. She was 63 years old.

She is the daughter of Winston Bowman and Shirley Garmany Bowman.

She was preceded in death by her father, son Jerome Paul Burleson Jr., and brother Tony Bowman.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Jerome Paul Burleson of Centerville. Daughter Carey Petrovich (Eric) of Pensacola, Florida. Five Grandchildren Preston Cox, Jared Burleson, Sophia Petrovich, Graison Petrovich, and Olivia Petrovich. Siblings Danny Bowman, Randy Bowman, Terry Bowman, Austin Bowman, Patty Gossett, Kathy Bowman, and Lisa Bowman. Many nieces, and nephews. Along with other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Martha enjoyed living the simple life. She took pleasure in gardening and being “Grandma” to her grandchildren. She loved being involved in their lives. She loved family. Martha and Jerome hosted large gatherings centered around the holidays and she enjoyed cooking for everyone. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

In keeping with Martha’s wishes there will be no services.
