Robert Bryant was born June 16, 1937 and passed from this life on September 27, 2023 at the age of 86.

Robert is the son of the late Clarence and Mary Dee Bryant, of Wrigley, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Betty Jean Jones, and son-in-law, Steve Duke.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Sandra Sue Russell Bryant, daughter, Tami Leigh Bryant Duke, grandson, Robert “Ryan” O’Neill, granddaughter, Sandra “Nicole” Duke (Justin), and great granddaughter, Brieanna Leigh Duke, brother James Dean “Deanie” Bryant, and his sister Sue Eubanks.

Robert was a devoted member of the Centerville church of Christ. He retired from MLEC and after his retirement, he spent most of his time at Tulipwood managing the upkeep of the landscaping and beautiful flowers. Robert was a self-taught guitarist and love to sing and play along with family and friends. Everyone who knew Robert knew how much he enjoyed playing golf, playing the guitar and working in his beautiful flowers. Although he loved working with flowers, his favorite role was that of a grandparent. Robert treasured every moment with his grandchildren and loved being gaga to his great-granddaughter, Brieanna. Robert will be terribly missed by friends and family.

Visitation with the family will be 30 Sep 2023 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be 1 Oct 2023 at 1:00 PM at Centerville Church of Christ, 138 N. Central Avenue, Centerville, TN with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
