Brugmann, Dylan A
To know Dylan was to love Dylan. His smile stretched from ear to ear and you could not help but smile back as soon as you saw that grin. He was always being goofy, from dancing at random times, to singing at the top of his lungs, making the silliest faces or throwing those hands on his hips, there was never a dull moment. Being silly was only one of his many great qualities.
He was brave. Nothing scared him except confrontation, however he handled it just fine. He was an adventure, loved the outdoors and never said no to something fun. He was a creator, he could build or make almost anything. He was a giver. If anyone ever needed help, it did not matter what on earth it was he would be there overalls on ready to go every single time.
He was a cheerleader. Being an uncle to his own and claiming all the others just like they were family gave him purpose. He never missed a game, a ceremony, or a trip to sonic for ice cream. He was the best Uncle Dill and idolized by each and everyone one of his nieces and nephews. It was rare to see him without one of them crawling up on his broad shoulders or riding on his back. He loved being there, he enjoyed every second he spent with all of the kids and you knew without a doubt that he loved each kid whole heartedly.
He was a fighter. He fought for himself and for the people he loved. It did not matter how many times he faced trials he never quit. Having the biggest support system in the world backing him up he knew quitting was not an option. He never gave up on himself, never gave up on his family, and never gave up on love.
He was sentimental. Life had a deeper meaning to him. He understood happiness did not come from stuff. He did not need materialist things to give him drive, just his family and close friends. He knew what it meant to love and to be loved and he held onto it. I think that is what made him such a big deal. Although he was handsome, full of life, a hard worker and a gentleman, his ability to love is what set him apart. He will always be remembered as strong, fearless, goofy and most of all so deeply loved.“
