Brown, Valerie Frenice
Valerie Frenice Brown was born June 15, 1961, in Centerville, Tennessee, to the late Fred and Charlie Mae Brown. She departed this life on November 21, 2020, at her home.
Val, as her family and friends called her, graduated from the Trotwood Madison School System in Dayton, Ohio. She worked in customer service and later at H & R Block as a receptionist.
Val loved to work in her church and she also enjoyed participating in local plays.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Charlie Mae Brown and her brother Walker L. Fowlkes, two special aunts Annie Mae Perkins and Ruby Nell Gray.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her two aunts, June Brown and Carolyn Johnson, a host of cousins and other relatives and a very special friend, Mrs. Frankie Jean Ward.
Funeral services for Val will be Monday, November 30, 2020, in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County beginning at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery, Centerville, TN, following the service.
