Delfinia H. Brown passed away on September 4, 2025, in Columbia, at the age of 67. Born on October 16, 1957, in Hohenwald, Delfinia was the cherished daughter of the late William and Tommy Cooper Himes
Delfinia’s life was marked by her dedication to caring for others, a trait that shone brightly through her work as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her compassionate nature and infectious humor brought comfort and smiles to both her colleagues and patients alike, making her a true friend in the healthcare community.
Family was the heart of Delfinia’s world. She was a loving mother to her son, Jeffery Brown, grandmother to Tessa Seymour and a great-grandmother to little Athena Seymour. Each moment spent with them was treasured, and her guidance and affection will continue to inspire them throughout their lives. Though predeceased by her husband, William “Wink” Miller, the love they shared remains.
Delfinia’s siblings, the late Randy Cooper, Clara Grover, and Gary Cooper, shared in the path of her life, filled with memories and stories of the good times they shared.
An avid fan of Hallmark movies, Delfinia could often be found enjoying the simple pleasures of a heartwarming story. Her culinary skills were second to none, and she took great delight in cooking for her family and friends, always ensuring that no one left her table hungry or without a dose of her signature humor. Delfinia’s presence was a gift to every gathering, and her ability to turn an ordinary moment into a memorable one was unmatched.
