On Tuesday March 10, 2020 Mrs. Evelyn Lois Brewer, 73 of Hohenwald passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord. Born in Lewis County TN on December 13,1946 to the late Aaron P. and Mary Elizabeth (Qualls) Kelley. Along with her parents Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her siblings Ruth Kelley, Wiley Kelley, Melba Ashworth, and David Kelley. She was a member of Riverside Church of Christ.  In December of 1966 she married her soulmate- Mr. Robert (Butch) Brewer Sr.  During their 53 years together, they raised two wonderful children and had a lifetime of love and laughter.

In her spare time, she loved to be on the water fishing or heading for a weekend of camping. Her true passion was being in the yard working in her garden and tending to all her flowers.  Her garden resembled a piece of art with as much beauty as one could take in.  Above all, her family was her greatest treasure. The time she was able to spend with family and friends was priceless in her eyes.  Nothing compares to the love she had for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.    

Along with her husband Mrs. Evelyn is survived by a son, Robert Larry Brewer Jr; a daughter, Katherine (Sissy) Jean Brewer; granddaughter, Samantha Inman; sisters, Carolyn Williams and Kathy Gill; and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be Friday March 13 ,2020 from 4:00-8:00 pm in the Chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services.   Funeral services will be Saturday March 14, 2020 at 2:00 pm with brothers Donald Duncan and Elliott Hamm officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Pleasantville, TN.
