Booker, Christine Danell
Christine Danell Booker was born February 2, 1968, in Maury County. She was the daughter of the late Maurice Alexander Booker and Beatrice Johnson Booker, both of whom preceded her in death.
Christine Booker transitioned from this earthly life and gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
She accepted Christ at Dry Fork Church of Christ at an early age. She was a 1986 graduate of Lewis County High School. Tina was a long-time, dedicated, selfless employee of Wendy’s and Bios. She was known to all whom she shared her golden heart and open arms. She never met a stranger nor turned a soul away as she lent a helping hand with an open door policy to her home. Tina loved the Lord and knew the power of prayer as she extended her hospitality and invested in the lives of others, which only strengthened her gold. She treasured being a great mother and grandmother. Just as gold never rusts, neither did Tina’s heart of gold wane despite the turbulence of hardship, family, friend or stranger might be going through. She never gave up on them or allowed the situation to overtake you.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister; Flossie; brothers, James Booker, William (Willie) Johnson, and step-brother, Anderson Brown.
She leaves to cherish her laughter her loving and devoted son, Marcus Booker; loving grandchildren, Gabriele Booker, Olive Booker, and Cruz Booker; loving sisters, Elizabeth (David) Joyce and Geneva Angus; devoted nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A visitation was held on Friday, October 15 at Roundtree Napier, & Ogilvie’s Funeral Home in Columbia, followed by a graveside service on Saturday, October 16 at Ohio Field Cemetery in Hampshire.
